- greatest emulator ever, taking into account the amount of supported cpus, systems and games as well as perfection and passion. should you download any roms (say, an 11 GB archive of all of them), download the extras as well: pictures of the actual machines, control panels, scanned flyers - some interesting piece of history here.

- Ever wonder what became of those old arcade or console games you used to play back in the day? Well they are probably sitting somewhere on the net. MAME is an emulator that allows you to play all of the old classic arcade games. Simply find a ROM you want to play, load it into the emulator, and you're playing Galaga!

- Mame is one of the truly great things on the internet. I never thought I'd play Scramble, or Phoenix, or Sinistar, or Space Duel or Xevious again. But they're out there, and they are *exactly* what you remember them being. The nostalgia-hound in me is extremely grateful to Salmoria et al.
