Duuuuuuh. Of course you can do that. But who leaves his boot loader wide open when he knows the box is not physically secured?

Well, duh. That's why you disable root (use sudo instead) and password-protect your boot loader if you can't secure physical access to your machine.

Yep, that's the standard technique to reset a password. Grub can be password protected if it's a worry.*

I sent this on to a friend who should know. His response was something I decided that all Linux users should know.(But then, I suppose they already do know).
Perhaps whoever made this movie was inferring that Linux is not as secure as some other operating system .
(Now, who would want to do a thing like that?)
