hopewind discovered 23 months ago- Information on how to set up a barrel to harvest rainwater from your gutters.

GreenLivin rated 2 months ago- This article makes the prospect of catching rainwater doable.

Heggs rated 23 months ago- It'd be great if I could do this for my apartment- any suggestions?

MrsA rated 23 months ago- I am all for this for 'green' reasons. But the 'green' I am talking about is money. This can save on money spent for water bills.

gheemaker rated 23 months ago- From the page: "Harvesting of rainwater is simply the collection of water for domestic or commercial use that would otherwise go down the drain. Various techniques have been practised for thousands of years to collect and store water, especially in areas of low rainfall. Today, rainwater harvesting systems can be installed in both new and existing buildings and can range from a quick, cheap water butt to a more complex system. Rainwater can be used for the garden, washing the car, showering, flushing the toilet, the washing machine, and even drinking if treated with UV light. "
