Troy Paiva, Moonshadow 2006. From the page: "Looking out from one of the abandoned wooden WWII era hangars at the old Army Air Force airfield in Tonopah, Nevada. This was a B24 and B25 training base during the war. Night, full moon. 4 minute exposure, Canon 20D"

From old sweaters to old building, I think Americans are the most wasteful of all people.

It's amazing how beautiful this sort of decay can be, especially when seen through a photo lens.

    Abandoned Military Bases
Navy Seal Holes The main communications and intelligence gathering building. The center of the secret world at Skaggs Island, a one time secret intelligence Naval Base near Sonoma, California. The holes were blasted by Navy Seals practicing forced entry techniques. More Skaggs Island images here.

people have commented on pages from this site before and have said they dislike the use of color in the images but i have thought its been done right and suits them. however, i cant say that for this set. don't get me wrong, the pics are still cool and really well done but the color doesn't seem right in these ones for some reason.
