I had a chuckle at the end: The systems have done their work and are waiting for new instructions by the time the occupant even realizes something has happened. Although usually a driver can see a car coming at their car, so unless it caught them by surprise I think they'd be aware of it before the computer. Either way, it's just amazing how intricate the technology is...
