i am such a logo nerd, i eat this stuff up like crazy. i am currently working on two identity projects and this is the stuff that helps me stay focused...or at least aware of what my style is conveying. always important to be aware of what is going on around you in the design world.

A lot of themes and features have long been used in logos anyhow, so I don't see how this specifically aims for 2008. Also, I'm more like weirded out by the SilverLight logo, not WOWed. :P

Logo design is interesting, but i don't see myself losing sleep doing it. Making a custom truetype font, on the other hand, is another story.
