- "Our mission is to help people learn how to live debt free and avoid becoming trapped by a 30-year mortgage."

noprob rated 16 months ago- Log Home Builders Association of North America was founded to spread information about "true and pure" building of log homes and log cabins. Please take the time to read our articles about log homes, warnings about kit log homes, join our log home forums, and also take a look at our student log home pictures. Our mission is to help people learn how to live debt free and avoid becoming trapped by a 30-year mortgage. One or two people can build a real handcrafted log home, log cabin, house, lodge, or cottage from logs very quickly - easily - and inexpensively - using simple hand-tools that will fit in a car trunk. In fact, it is often possible to build very beautiful log homes without a mortgage (and without log home kits).

TofuTheGreat rated 17 months ago- Very gorgeous homes. Wish I had the land to do something like this. I still don't understand how they claim that you'll be mortgage free though. Maybe the idea is to buy a cheap plot of land somewhere? This is not always an option for everyone though.

technohippie rated 22 months ago- From the page: "Spreading truth about log homes & log cabins since 1965" I'm an early-eighties graduate of Skip Ellsworth's class on the Redmond campus. The big house was still under construction and I did get an early-on tour. The potlucks are the most fun and I just attended my first since the eighties about a year ago. Building another log house is on my to-do list ... someday ... maybe.
