A fish caught in Lubbock, Texas, with teeth that look like they belong to a human has baffled wildlife officials in the area, according to a report. Fisherman Scott Curry reeled in the 20-pound fish on Buffalo Springs Lake and immediately noticed the catch had human-like teeth. A game warden photographed the fish and is attempting to identify it. General Manager of Buffalo Springs Lake Greg Thornton told KLBK13-TV in Texas that he has never seen anything like the fish in the 36 years he has lived near the lake. A search for what the fish may be suggested that it may be a pacu, which is found in South America.

Well, they have always said everything is bigger in Texas. I guess that includes fish teeth too!

so i guess if a game warden, park manager, and one more stupid redneck without a title see a fish they don't recognize, then it must be some kind of crazy mutated fishy human hybrid. or something. how about instead of saying the fish has human-like teeth you just say it's a fish you haven't seen before. and it doesn't take an orthodontist to tell you those teeth don't look human. personally it reminds me of a pirhana, but i'm no ichthyologist.

This just goes to prove that it is a blast to live in Texas. There are so many interesting things here. There are so many true stories here which would be called the coarser version of 'raw fertilizer of the bovine variety' anywhere else. I just cannot imagine NOT wanting to live in this fantastic place! God Bless Texas.

Taken from Wikipedia: The Pacu (IPA: [ˈpækju]) is a common name used to refer to several species of South American freshwater fish... They have unusual teeth, which strangely resemble human teeth, which they use to crush seeds that fall into the water. Pacus have been illegally introduced as exotic species throughout the world into freshwater habitats, including discoveries in the United States in Utah[1], Colorado[2], Minnesota[3], Michigan[4], Arizona[5] and Texas [6].
