This is an excellent library. Don't forget, though, that client side validation is not acceptable for security. If someone really wants to get around javascript validation, they can.

javascript validation on the fly. This is a great way to catch mistakes in forms before users press submit.

The idea is a good one but developers using this script need to alter the code and use a lot of common sense to use this script while maintaining good user experience.
