Most beautiful words in the English language

This list has a lot of words you thought you sort of knew the meaning of when you read them but weren't 100% sure but were too lazy to stop and look up. (At least that's the case with me!) So it's great to have all their definitions in one place. I feel smarter just scanning it.... more

It's an interesting list, it combines words that I don't know with words that I use every day. I'm sad to say my favorites aren't on this list, but I suppose I'll just make my own list compiled of my and my friends' favorite words. In fact, I think I"ll start on it right now.

Presently there are 223 words on the list. I have a few I'd add ,but it's not my list. Still a nice one, with some words you may never have thought of when writing or speaking. Take a peek, use one new word from this list each day & I bet your vocabulary will improve in no time.
