From the page: "Paldo is a Linux distribution created by two Swiss students. They came up with an interesting name for their product, "pure adaptable linux distribution" and they try to accomplish this in every package, or at least they say. The whole thing runs on the "just-works" principle, meaning it tries to automatically configure as much as possible without user intervention. This makes it newbie-friendly. But wait, if you're a geek or a developer, you can also use this distro. It allows anyone to change every package by providing a local version of the sources and specs that have been changed. The whole distribution is very flexible because it's built on top of Upkg."
