Stariuss rated 2 months ago- Linux has its own problems just like Windows does. Don't make outlandish claims the linux is problem free!

rssn rated 2 months ago- He's a fanboy, but at least he tell others not to be.

Freemanhasaposse rated 2 months ago- Leave me the fuck alone. I have Ubuntu on a laptop, but my main system uses Windows and I'm not going to change that to earn the respect of some 400 pound sweaty neckbearded fuck. I don't even care that you're giving advice on how not to be a dick about it, you're automatically being a dick by fucking evangelizing your OS.

Yamamushi rated 2 months ago- I don't care if other people love linux or not, I know windows sucks ass, but I also know there are things windows can do that linux can't and vice versa.

rumplesmigskin rated 2 months ago- You can't _make_ people love Linux, they will come to love / like it themselves from experience. No amount of evangelizing or offers to switch over their XP installation will make people budge. Why? People dislike change. I have a friend who fits the Linux bill almost perfectly, who recently upgraded from Windows ME. He's not going anywhere, simply because he likes his computer the way it is. That isn't going to change any time soon. Also, "Microsoft marketed an entire operating system on worthless visual thrills": Yeah, we all know how well that went. I'd rather desktop Linux not to market itself on useless eye-candy. (While I admit that in moderation, visual effects can be very useful.)

m3l7down rated 2 months ago- Here's how to make Linux more popular than Windows. Create efficient DirectX libraries. Make games available. Thats the only way Linux is going to win the war.
