The website is currently in beta form. I will be periodically updating the database with Windows software and the Linux equivalents and alternatives." A long list of Linux alternatives to Window$! In Linux: Krusader is far better than Window$ Explorer (twin panel is better most of the time). Same with Firefox/Internet Explorer, Thunderbird/Outlook, VLC/WMP etc. etc. Totally agree, VLC *should* be there!
