Also, check out "The Mechanical Universe" for an excellent calculus primer. Rather spendy at ~ $500 for the full series though.

Any list that contains that claptrap "Imagining the Tenth Dimension" as a good way to learn physics is automatically a failure, and shows that the author doesn't know good from (very) bad.
