- an art project by, among others, filmmaker miranda july: basically, people (you, me, everyone we know) are given an assignment to do and then submit it to them. there's already a book out with a compilation of tasks from people who, eventually, should learn something about themselves. examples: take a picture of your parents kissing; write a letter to yourself in the past (kind of a 'back to the future' moment); write a phone conversation you would like to have/have had. it can be very revealing. mirrors suck, huh? ;)
