Spartz discovered 7 months ago- "In the middle of one post-chemo night, my husband was out of town and I was sick and I got up and tried to get the little pipe lit and take one hit so I could maybe sleep. My son heard me struggling and he came into my bedroom. He lit the match for me and showed me where to put my finger on the "carburetor," the hole on the side of the pipe, to make it draw. I was too grateful to ask him how he knew all this. He stayed with me until I felt better. It was mother-son bonding in a new way."

wellnessjunction rated 3 months ago- Great article about a woman and her thoughts (regarding her own experiences) of the use of marijuana to deal with chemotherapy.

- I love the article - and the discussion - I watched my mother battle Kidney Cancer for 4 years - morphine - avinza - opiates - and you know what - the bottom line is she was in and out of pain because it doesn't pay "big business" to cure CANCER! I say F#CK CANCER and while we're at it F#CK the drug manufacturers. Peace - I'm not spell checking!

Matthme rated 7 months ago- Great article.

- I have no problem with cancer patients using marijuana, but it's really disturbing to realize how many supposedly adult people use it. No wonder at least once a month I have to get on the phone and argue with someone about a mistake on some account or another - the phone bill, the homeowner's association bill, the cable bill, the bill for an ambulance ride I never took, the credit card bill....no wonder they're all screwed up - everybody's stoned.
People who can't handle life without help from drugs, alcohol, religion, whatever - well, whatever gets you through the night, but you should not reproduce...why pass your inability to cope with life on to another generation? I'm tired of cleaning up after you people. - I have no problem with cancer patients using marijuana, but it's really disturbing to realize how many supposedly adult people use it. objbuilder rated 7 months ago- From the page: "I had come full circle in my life -- the next time I had a toke, I stood in my bathroom with the fan on, blowing smoke out the window, but instead of my parents, I was scared my kids would find out I was smoking dope again. "
