If it is proven that she was behind this, I hope they throw the book at her. She should have known better as an adult the emotional damage she was causing this poor child. Bastard.

From the page: "A federal grand jury in Los Angeles today indicted a woman of fraudulently using a MySpace.com account to "cyber-bully" a Missouri teenager who later hanged herself because she believed she was being rejected by a 16-year-old boy she met on the social networking website. Lori Drew, 49, of O'Fallon, Mo., faces three counts of accessing protected computers without authorization to obtain information to inflict emotional distress on the girl and one count of conspiracy." Do we applaud the fact that a 49 year old woman, who engaged in childish behavior, that resulted in the suicide of a teenager, is getting her just desserts? Or, do we fear that the criminal justice system has, yet another tool, to regulate and prosecute human behavior, that, ultimately, will be abused? I wonder if Ms Drew feels the least bit of regret for trying and succeeding in causing mental cruelty to a poor teenager.
