- WalMart + China = Diabolical! I'll be sticking with Payless thanks, granted their shoes are all made "over there"...I've NEVER seen anything like this from wearing any shoes we sell.

- this incident is screwed up on SO many levels... another mostly synthesized (i'm assuming here) petrochemical based product, our never ending quest to purchase goods at next to nothing costs without considering the implications, the fact that we're working for next-to-nothing and can't afford to purchase quality goods, effin' walmart, environmental toxins, consumer warnings/labeling, the people on the other side of the world that have even fewer workplace safety and security protections MAKING these flippin' flops and all the other crap we buy, and, and, and,,,, oh yeah - CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

- More conspiracy! Do you think it is an accident...that China is just too cheap or maybe isn't aware of the chemicals they are putting on our toys and clothes??? Consider the possibility that when it comes to world affairs, there are no accidents!

- This is what you deserve from shopping at wal-mart and your children deserve to be poisoned with lead as well. I can only think of the children that had to make 5000 of those shoes in one 18 hour day before they could go to bed or eat food. Shame on you for even thinking that wal mart owed you something.
