- Opening credit sequences sometimes reveal things about a movie's characters and/or foreshadow/advance plot. Some opening credits display a lot of creativity, wit, and/or playfulness. Others show viewers several minutes' worth of credits in a white font on a black screen, perhaps to make the rest of the film seem more entertaining in comparison. The idea of this list is good, but I don't like the list itself that much. Catch Me If You Can is a good choice; a lot of the others start to run together.
