Kudos for the CSI one. The mythbusters panel bothers me a little, though. Often what they set out to do is to see if something, under the right conditions, is possible. In that case, one data point is enough.

I like the point, but the mythbuster one is a little unfair. Bandwevil's got it right. "Ideas are tested by experiment." that is the core of science. Everything else is just bookkeeping- Zombie Feynman, XKCD
