Joke About The Last Fifty Years of Math 1958-2008

That story says less about the state of public education as it does about the state of education of Burger King workers. And the joke itself is pretty stupid and not relevant. But it's still funny somehow, which is why I'm thumbing it up.

The rant is rather disjointed and makes little sense, including the joke offered as the second half of the rant. If you're going to bitch, at least bitch coherently.

Telling a joke in the 2000's: A blogger writes out a long winded series of comparisons that go no where at all and are not funny, but point out how our school system dumbs things down or changes over time, but really who cares, because his jokes isn't funny.

Not really funny. It is more of a protest, but education today is not that different from 1950, nor does No Child Left Behind require that math is taught in Spanish. The joke doesn't really make sense.

old joke at this time, now a little bit funnier. For those who feel intimidated by those who speak only Spanish, I see your point. It feels like our culture, shallow as it is, is being eroded, at least in the area of language. As to the translation, I know not the quality, but if more and more non-native speakers choose to learn Spanish, we may be seeing more and more what I now choose to call spenglish.
