One more beautiful aspect of Linux. If something bad happens, you have more than one way to get out of it. BTW- I'm surprised that the Alt-Ctrl-Shift salute isn't on here. A-C-S stops your X-term. It's a lot easier on the Hard Drive, and all you have to do is log back in and...

handy for those rare occasions when all stops ... hangs rare or not rare - its a killer OS. which OS is better, linux or win, let the time tell
