A fantastic article which offers an insight into creating a blog people will care about. In the post, Klein makes six recommendations for those looking to epand their blog readership; devise a clear strategy, create content that doesn't 'suck', implement a layout that maximises the strategy, create an optimised 'squeeze page' (in this case, a squeeze page refers to a page that encourages users to take a specific action, such as subscribing to the blog), creation of a feedback loop, and finally creation of the 'rabbit hole' effect. There will invariably be a number of suggestions made that will improve the quality of your blog. A recommended read for anyone looking to enhance the quality of their blog.

"Internet Marketing", "How to Blog", "Social Media Marketing", "SEO" sites and articles have become so commoditized that I barely give them a second glance. I went out on a limb and actually read this article by Josh Klein (Disclaimer: we are SU friends and until today I didn't even know he had a website). I am impressed! What a breath of fresh air, or I should say a breath of fresh and thoughtful ideas. I found this article to be clear, straight forward and sincere. I am looking forward to reading more from Josh as I will be regularly checking this site as a resource in my journey to become a better blogger.

Blogs need to be more than search-optimized words and the latest flashy widgets, so I'm going to walk you through the recent updates I've made to this blog distilled into lessons for any blog.
