Che Guevara's 40th Anniversary Today's the 40th anniversary of Che Guevara's execution. So to commemorate in some small way I have decided to provide a link or two. The first is one is from an Irish artist that made his image iconic. As a result of designing some copyright free images of Che his face has gazed at us from t-shirts, posters, mugs, coasters, you name it.... Thanks Jim.

One of my favorite artists. Fitzpatrick's Celtia series is wonderful, as the Tuatha De Danaan are special to me. I discovered Jim Fitzpatrick a few years ago when a friend brought back a greeting card (photoblogged above) from Ireland as a souvenir. "Tuatha De assemble" depicting king Nuada of the Silver arm at the battle of Moytura. She said the picture reminded her of me somehow. She had no idea how special the story of Nuada was to me - ding dong! I love it when things like that happen.
