    This is by far the best RSS reader for Windows I've ran across yet. (And a handy basic organizer for many things web-related). The only down-side is it seems the 'pro' version is now freeware (good) but the overall software project may not be subject to maintenance anymore (bad). The thought that it might be EOL (end-of-life) is a concern, but great software otherwise.

    This is the ultimate information organizer. If you use rss/atom feeds then this program is a must. Omea Reader doesn't just read rss though, it allows you to manage a wide array of information(newsgroups, contacts, notes, tasks, and more) in a very customizable way. This program may turn off some due to its initial learning curve, but if you take the time to download it and work through some of the tutorials on their site, you will see that this program is indispensable. I highly recommend it.

    "It grows on you" As an information packrat, Omea's search and indexing are top-notch when it comes to managing my RSS feeds. Also a plus is the Omea firefox extension, great for grabbing web snippets.
