I like how she mixes up several music categories, how she combines classic and pop or rock or jazz or hip-hop, on the other site i think this page needs some refreshing, the last entry is from september 06 and i can't wait for the new album.

- Jem defies categorization. Not quite trip-hop, trance, electronica. But Jem is AMAZING. All the tracks on her album, "Finally Woken" are gems. (no pun intended) However, if you're a fan of Frou Frou, Dido, Imogen Heap, Beth Orton or just good music in general you need to listen to her. (I think I have some in my SU Music Player ;P)

- Did I mention this music is highly addictive? Great sound production....I'm starting to kick myself for not going to see her in concert when I had the chance a few weeks ago.

- Jem musician. Reminds a bit of Dido, but I like this a lot more. Very nice sounds. Yes I agree, it'll have your cubicle bumping. If you don't have a cubicle just bounce up and down a little bit.

- downtempo electronica, warm and fuzzy beats, best perhaps as part of a sampling on a mixed CD rather than listened to straight through. best song THEY will have your cubicle bumping. Beth Orton meets drum machine and sound loops.
