From the page: "Corporal Dunham made the ultimate sacrifice, and in doing so saved the lives of his fellow Marines. Due to his actions on that fateful day, Corporal Dunham has been awarded the Medal of Honor." This is a hero. May he rest peacefully now with the company of angels and fellow soldiers, brothers, that are all in Heaven with the Almighty.

A true hero in every sense of the word. May he rest in peace.

Most "Medal of Honor" stories are not this short. But, they are all great stories.

The best of the best. A man I would like to have known.

This site is a memorial to a very brave man who gave his life for his fellow Marines. I doubt seriously when he put his helmet over the grenade he was thinking about politics. Honor the man.

culverin2 -- what has Bush got to do with this man's honor and courage. Jason L. Dunham did something remarkable. You know what I agonize over? Shit head losers like you.

I remember hearing about this fellow on NPR. Do you think Bush agonizes over the death of this man and others in Iraq?
