- i support the blogger in saying TV is really an Idiot box... it creates idiots if u keep on watching those daily soaps.. But totally shutting down TV i wont take .. its cheap means of entertainment , provides good knowledge "Discovery channel" heard something like that.. The real problem is not TV its the too much of TV which is killing us .. laying back there and watching TV all the time makes us sick .. don't get addicted to TV if u do .. u loose.. Its like too much of books reading is gonna create Bookworms only a different form of TV idiots .. TV is more dangerous becoz TV is very easily accessible ,very cheap then those movie tickets to multiplex. About the point he raised of extreme emotions well movies creates them more but we don't spend all day in multiplex

- I concur. I hope I have the ability to keep my kid(s) in the future from living their lives vicariously through television, though I'm sure it will be hard if I can.

Ummmm. Mr self righteous dude? What about the developing third world? or China? A couple million people in the world are in their 20's and 30's and getting to watch TV on a regular basis for the first time. But you are somehow better because you come from a white-bread suburban environment. Please. Step off of your high horse and pay attention to the world. - What an arrogant ass.
