haha: "In 1974, disco is an underground phenomenon ... ... in 1977, everyone dances to disco along with John Travolta ... ... on July 12 1979, disco sucked" That just about sums up the story of disco, cutting out all the "fluff". But seriously, I enjoy disco.

It's a real shame there was such a huge backlash against disco. I'd rather listen to Donna Summer or Sylvester over the majority of the pap that calls itself music these days. Yeah, I'm a music snob, but I don't care!

I was there, right in thick of things..... I worked at Betterdays with DJ T Scott, doing lights. "T" taught me how to spin when I was 17 yo. Larry was a mentor before during and after my Navy days. Frankie and I still cross paths... I'm the principal/creative director of a Event Production Design firm in New England, I've produced and designed all of his Boston appearances along with being his choice Light Jockey.
