Snubbelkalle discovered 6 months ago- From the page: "To protest against the faulty propaganda from the industry, we made our own film."

darsius rated 6 months ago- aww that's a nice one. I still like the parody from the episode of the boondocks.

garrettwarshaw rated 6 months ago- Couldn't agree more that sharing doesn't stifle culture, it expands culture.

Freaker rated 6 months ago- I went to a concert of an amazing small band last night (The Fiery Furnaces), whom I would never have heard of had a friend not sent me several of their songs a while back... Sharing will certainly pay off in the long run for all the artists whose music people are willing to pay for.

parvez rated 6 months ago- From the page: "The media industry has failed to offer viable legal alternatives and they will fail to convince consumers that sharing equals stealing. Unfortunately, they have succeeded in another area â€" lobbying to adapt laws to criminalize sharing, turning consumers into criminals. They argue that their laws are necessary to [support artists], but in reality all they're protecting is their own profits." Interesting stuff to read no doubt!

vashsunglasses rated 6 months ago- I wouldn't steal a handbag. I wouldn't steal a car. I wouldn't steal a TV. But I do download films. The entertainment industry lobbies to adapt laws to suit themselves. They exploit artists and sell propaganda. Share, it's fair.

shiftplus rated 6 months ago- I agree that stealing and copying are fundamentally different, but I don't agree with this whole "I wouldn't steal if I had a cheap alternative" crap.
But that's 'cos I'm anti-capitalist, not some reformist, post-Left, reactionary Green.
All art should be free. Fuckin' end-of.- I agree that stealing and copying are fundamentally different, but I don't agree with this whole "I wouldn't steal if I had a cheap alternative" crap.

mlekas rated 6 months ago- The Greens have it right. I'm paying for the art, not the parent company's advertising.

hinchy34 rated 6 months ago- I got sick of renting movies to watch that ad. When I started to download movies, I never saw the ad, for obvious reasons. As stated before, they are insulting the people who do pay for the media they enjoy.
