as a soldier you swear to protect your nation from enemies foreign and abroad. not only if you agree with the war. these weekend warriors need to understand the job they took.

I appreciate the service of these guys, but I'm not going to thumbs-up their page. Too many people I know personally went to Iraq, did their jobs, and disagree with most everything I hear these guys say.

As of today, the Rumsfeld/Cheney/Bush cabal is now going to be sending MORE men and women into Iraq.....The "backdoor draft" of the "STOP LOSS" program isn't feeding enough lives into the Right Wing Military/Think Tank/Industrial complex for the asshats running our country. I fully support the IVAW. I was in the Army in the 80's. I remember the oath I took to defend the United States agains ALL enemies, Foreign AND DOMESTIC. Any one with half a brain can see that the Administration currently in power are ENEMIES of the United States. They MUST BE STOPPED!

For all the folks thumbing down this site... okay, okay...that's your opinion. But before you disparage the character of these veterans, could you please volunteer to go to Iraq to be a soldier there? You know...the whole, "walk a mile in someone else's shoes" ??

This should be read daily by the politicians who vote to send our soldiers into harm's way, and who vote to keep them there despite the shifting justifications of why their sacrifices were necessary.
