isabead discovered 9 months ago- I drink distilled water every day. I got started When I was in Florida and the water was bad. I don't like the taste of city water. It feels healthier than city water. I am sure well water is better but I am in town.

- Do people really drink distilled water? I've never heard of it - maybe it's an american thing. I though the stuff only got used for car batteries and steam irons.

- I don't drink distilled water because it doesn't taste very good. Tap water is what I like. This whole "distilled water is acidic and causes the body's acidity to rise!" crap has got to stop. The body has extremely sensitive buffers and pH balancers to make sure the body's pH doesn't go out of whack.

- This surprised me as I have been an advocate for drinking distilled water for quite some time... I guess it goes without saying that "everything in moderation" is applicable here as with most everything else.

- Distilled water isn't drinking water. I thought it was pretty common knowledge.
