sounDeva discovered 5 months ago- it is absolutely ridiculous that the federal government would mandate that new 'real ID's', not the ones already issued per state laws (driver's license, state id card), will be funded by the states - not the federal government - and must adhere to homeland security regulations...as an example, a driver's license is not an acceptable form of ID to get you on a plane - even for domestic flights - you must carry a real ID. Maine, Washington, Arkansas, and Idaho have all passed legislation OPPOSING real id.

- I can guaranty they will try to put rfid chips in these IDs. That way the government will be able to keep track of where you are. Then they'll tie your bank account to these real IDs. That way when you disobey the rulers they'll be able to fuck with your money. Why do I need any ID? I know who I am.

eskimowarlord rated 5 months ago- From the page: "Americans should heed the urgings of Mark Sanford (R) a former House member and current governor of Georgia, who is urging Americans to prod their lawmakers into debating REAL ID, pointing out that the revolutionary, Constitution-defying legislation passed as an amendment to a major bill without hearings or debate."
