B-J-T-J discovered 14 months ago- The Midwestern Innocence Project was created in 2000 to free innocents in the Midwest like Ellen Reasonover and Dennis Fritz. To achieve this goal, we are: creating awareness among appropriate inmates, their families and local bar associations; screening requests using questionnaires and reviews of court files; investigating cases which appear to involve wrongful convictions; and litigating and/or seeking clemency on behalf of inmates determined to be innocent
