Clearly the best place is the middle

Ahahahaha, that's adorable. Overly simplified, but it gets the message across. And from far away it looks like a Rorschach slide...double win!

Some of it is kind of correct, but the parts that aren't are kind of bothersome.

what's this, an informative political image that isn't grossly biased towards either side? even though it's simplified, i like the direction it's going in.

Using terms like "Left" or "Right" to describe politcal opinion is like saying there's only two types of people. Even "conservative", "liberal", "libertarian" doesn't even do the world of political opinion justice. Calling them LEFT and RIGHT is trying to indoctrinate people into thinking there are only two options, being polar opposites. This kind of polarisation "us vs them", "you're either with us or against us" is very socially corrosive.

Echoing the complaint that this is simplified- and somewhat out of date. Conservatives these days are marked by a distinct willingness to meddle in social lives and society- this overarching concern of theirs with gay marriage, anyone? On another front, I don't like how the 'parent' figure is gendered female, and the 'adult' figure is gendered male. Playing into some pretty old stereotypes there, isn't it.

This is way oversimplified - and therefore a sadly accurate representation of the average American's political intelligence.
