- One of the the posters before me said, "Learn what the word means in a scientific context, for Christ sake." Evolution will always be a theory fucktard, just like Newton's three laws, but that doesn't mean it isn't based on fact. If you let go off a bowling ball over your foot and do not move your foot it will fall on your foot thanks to gravity. The act of gravity is a fact - but the theory of gravity is still THEORY! Tell you what... go try that bowling ball thing and tell me how it turns out.
Assuming that the article is correct and the scientist evidence is accurate, these lizards lend more FACTUAL evidence to the THEORY of evolution. The author of the article took some creative, though not entirely non-fact based, creative license in his writing. If the best you have is to tell him learn what theory means than you have nothing.
