- Welcome to the world of business. How do you think Wal-mart can continue to maintain such low prices? Honestly, I'm gonna go to whatever store gives me the best prices and Wal-mart has consistently been that store. If the employees don't like their paychecks, why not go work at a store that's going to pay them more?

- I was pretty shocked a few years ago when 60 Minutes reported that the government gave Wal*Mart corporate welfare to the tune of a huge new airport just for it to ship its stuff around... But, given that most welfare does go to corporations and the average American family is barely making it, what with paying taxes so that the oil companies don't have to, I now think Wal*Mart is a necessity in the American economy for the Americans whose jobs have been shipped off shore, as well as the Americans who aren't being paid a living wage...
