    I saw the movie with some trepidation after observing some poor reviews. I liked the movie. Although I would have directed it a little differently it is what I would expect from Steven Speilberg and George Lucas. So if you understand that Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark was a tribute movie to the old serials, then you can comprehend that The Crystal Skull is a tribute to 50's pulp, and keeps the tradition of 50's pulp. So it is what it is; and is fantastic for what it is. If you do not like classic 50's pulp than you may have less tolerance for this movie. I REALLY enjoyed it.

    I thought the new film was pretty good. My favourite part was the very beginning with the 50's car chase. That was great. But, what really amazes me is the way the writers just throw a bunch of 'facts' together and make a blockbuster movie out of it...

    I went and watched this last night. Is it as good as the first 3? Time will tell. It is as action packed as it's predecessors, with the feel of the old Indy movies. The storyline did throw me for a loop though...
