sbeast rated 3 months ago- Some cable manufacturers make it hard to wire-up correctly. I had one box of wire that was easier to wire-up this way: solid green, striped green, solid orange, solid blue, striped blue, striped orange, solid brown, striped brown. As long as it's the same on both ends (for straight-thru) it will work. If you make a lot of cables you will probably understand what I'm saying. The guys at work thought I was full of shit, but I could make cables faster when I didn't have to follow some stupid chart.
