In Between Meals: Atlantis Hotel (The Palm) Dubai

This would be a great bedroom to have. Uber-relaxing. Mind you, you'd have to go to the only place in the world that still seems to have tons of money: Dubai. It kind of creeps me out that there are people rich enough (not to mention 'brave' enough), to fly to Dubai for a bit of '... more

So beautiful, it is disgusting. The mongers that breed this type of "to good to be true" hotel (getaway: where people forget the humanity outside its walls) create such things to maintain and embrace future materialistic, money mongers. Dubai has certainly made a name for itself. Let us enjoy the simplicities in life, the softness in the grass, the misty mornings in the country, let us enjoy silence, do forget your brothers in the rest of the world. Think about relaxing at home with the lights off. Forget about ever venturing off to this man-made land among a world where we still have poor mothers and starving children.

I love the idea of communing "within" the ocean by having the fish around you all the time. I would love to have a night at this hotel!

This would be a great bedroom to have. Uber-relaxing. Mind you, you'd have to go to the only place in the world that still seems to have tons of money: Dubai. It kind of creeps me out that there are people rich enough (not to mention 'brave' enough), to fly to Dubai for a bit of 'relaxation'. Another thing about this bedroom (besides the relaxing fish), is that the bed looks as if it's made for the Princess and the Pea. There must be 3 feet of fluffy down as mattress (no coils, no lumps, or bumps), and what is 'obviously' silk and cashmere bedding. What a life! To sleep perchance to....ah! and there's the rub (but not from from the linen in these digs, for sure). ` `
