Trisha24 rated 9 months ago- Through the neighborhoods of Paris, love is veiled, revealed, imitated, sucked dry, reinvented and awakened. Twenty filmmakers will bring their own personal touch, underlining the wide variety of styles, genres, encounters and the various atmospheres and lifestyles that prevail in the neighborhoods of Paris. Segment: Faubourg Saint Denis - Tom Tykwer Segment: Tuileries - Joel & Ethan Coen Segment: Place des Fêtes - Oliver Schmitz My personal favorite: Segment: Bastille - Isabel Coixet but sorry, couldnt find it english subbed on youtube :(

WhoGivesAShirt rated 22 months ago- I lucked out with two tickets to the Toronto Film Fest tonight, to the movie Paris, je t'aime. I had picked the tickets based solely on the title (car j'aime tellement Paris) but what a score they turned out to be! As with most short film collections, many of the shorts were misses, but they were short shorts, and the hits were fantastic enough to outweigh the negatives. Of particular interest were the several of the early segments, starring Steve Buscemi amongst others, and the penultimate, involving a Denver mail carrier's "what I did on my holidays" composition for her French class. The latter, especially, was terrifically moving, and almost single-handedly makes this a must-see. If ever you've had to sit through dreck like Love, Actually, Paris, je t'aime is a tonic. Added bonus, it's filled with beautiful scenery from my favourite city. *SOUPIRS*
