Ignacio Núñez Gutiérrez's ink on paper
These amazing drawings terrify and fascinate me. They're reminiscent of a recurring nightmare I had as a kid during a spell of "high fevers of unknown origin." Picture a machine the size of a whole city exploded into a zillion bits of swirling chaos that develops a life and destructive hunger of its own. Post industrial apocalyptic vision in the fever dreams of a 6 year old farm girl. I stumbled across this artwork on ladoan's interesting pages.

Techniques and media: Basically this is black ink on white paper, which is then armed, mixed and digitally retouched. Each paint is 1 meter by 73 centimeters or so. My illustrations are based or inspired by artists such as HR Giger, Jean Michel Basquiat, Jackson Pollock, Akira art (of Katsuhiro Otomo), Moebiuos, and Roberto Matta. Visual art works by iggiart Great works. Iggi's approach is similar to my digital variations. For reference see Digital variations versus fractals.
