But there you go.. it's a typical example of the blind leading the blind...

glasstacular rated 7 weeks ago- everything i love about religious fundamentalists is wrapped up in this letter. you can truely see this person is a fine ambassador of her faith. the teachings of jesus; peacemaking, loving thy neighbor, and forgivness are the corner stones of her life and more importantly her walk with god..BLURRPPTT.....excuse me i need to go vomit.

- I am reminded of how this country is about freedom of religion not freedom from religion. I would no more get rid of atheist than I would Scientology. Atheist have a vital God given roll to play. We are all creatures of free will and God has not manifest Himself to an oppressive degree. Consider how Christianity is both mainstream and counterculture with moral relativism and pluralism pulling the Church away from the message of forgiveness and grace. I challenge Atheist to do better than Christians in the moral and ethics department. I think if atheist would like to see the religion fade away they need to have more appeal than a lack of belief. Atheism needs philanthropic institutions of charity and community welfare. Atheist will maintain they are not a religion but I see lots of dogmatic response to this little newspaper snippet. No atheism is not a religion as they are too misunderstood to even get that close. That rugged individualism will be tested soon as the last days are coming and prophecy will reveal signs of the return of the Messiah. There will be massive deception heaped upon the church during the last days of tribulation. Atheist need to be careful that there cognitive dissonance is not interrupted by a knock at the door of the heart and the Holy Spirits last plea of redemption.

cholling rated 3 months ago- So? Some dimwit who writes letters to the editor has a stupid opinion. You might as well post an article about how someone on a message board said someone else was TEH GHEY. This isn't news.

ZoeFine rated 11 months ago- asshat

Lzee rated 13 months ago- Personally, I believe in respecting the rights of theists, anti-theists and deists alike. Now, stupidity, I wholeheartedly believe should be laughed at and poked with a pointy stick. This woman will be cited in any future conversation about these beliefs.

The whack job of the week award goes to Alice Shannon, from the great state of Alaska,
home of all those internet tubes... God bless her tolerant little Christian heart...
and her even smaller Christian brain.

ValerieO rated 13 months ago- "I don't care if they have never committed a crime, Atheists are the reason crime is rampant." - Gotta love a solid argument bound by pure logic....ha!
