- Ugh. I'm just going to stick with 3.5... I don't have the money to go buy more of those books...

blitzenoia rated 12 months ago- This is really big news.

- i'm glad D&D pretty much launched the hobby, but ever since hasbro took over WotC it seems like they just keep coming up with more ways to bleed money from the fan base. buy the book then pay another fee to get the online content? pay a monthly subscription fee for the online table top? the only good news i was expecting from this was the death of the OGL and that didn't even happen. i don't think the OGL is killing the industry, i think the industry is killing the industry by failing to innovate. but i do think the OGL is a contributing factor to that. and in some ways i have to give them some respect for the innovation of the online content side of things, but they're not the only company offering pretty good online support for product lines and i fully expect them to gouge players and GMs alike with their pricing scheme.

Jecrell rated 12 months ago- Dungeons and Dragons: The Next Generation

dpiekarski rated 12 months ago- 4th Edition? When I was a boy, we had to physically slay the dragons not use dice, and we liked it.
