I don't quite understand marriage. It's like putting a sign up saying 'I quit!'. It's like saying, "I'm dating someone socially acceptable!" How about you just live together? and then you don't spend tens of thousands of dollars, and if you get sick of each other, you can leave, with less hassle.

From the page: "I see things that need to be done and I think, But I don't want to do that, and then expect my wife will take care of it later." I'm not a husband, so I don't know if my input is relevant here, but do those things need to be done? Do the windows need to be cleaned, or would it just be "nice" if they were? Likewise, everything else. There are certain domestic tasks that I don't do because I don't care whether they get done or not. It's not a matter of expecting someone else to do them - until I care to do them, they won't get done. It's called freedom, and it's great.
