I get it! I get it! Nicola Roberts gets it. But in a different way ;-)

This essay was pure, rambling nonsense. I just don't get it.

From the page: You don't have to be smart to get it. It is simply the knowledge that our species is behaving badly, and it is time for us to change. We have to treat nature, and each other, better, and we have it do it very soon, or there will be unimaginable consequences. .......... Do you get it?

From the page: "The thing about getting it is, it doesn't make you rich or beautiful. It doesn't solve problems in your personal life. In fact, it's likely to consign you to a life of financial hardship." :(

Funny because he never says what "it" is and everyone just uses their past experiences and comes up with their own idea of what "it" is. I get it but I know what I get is different from what some of the rest of you get.

I completely disagree, but I am entertained by the idea.

From the page: " I think the world is rapidly dividing between two types of people. Not Republicans and Democrats, or liberals and conservatives. Not the religious and the science-oriented. It is dividing between people who get it and people who don't."

I agree with brtkrbzhnv about apostrophes.

Just one of those rare blog entries that really strikes a chord. It contains a very astute observation of such simplicity and profoundness that I marvel at the fact that I haven't already read a hundred variations of this text.
