There comes a point in the life-cycle of almost every web-site and blog where the designer, sighs and mutters something like "I wish I had known that when I first started". Here are the things I wish I had known when I had first started my site.

Lord in heaven. THESE guys are giving out tips on how to better make websites. This is seriously behind the times.
I agree with JonLandrum, just putting anything and everything in a CSS file is just useless junk. Even if you do use all those classes, chances are your site will look uneven with all different bolds, underlines and colors.

From the page: "If Only Id Known! (Tips for a new website)"

Even though I've been making web pages for ages, this page still gave me useful tips that I hadn't thought about. So even if you already know your HTML and master your CSS you might wan't to check this out anyway!

Holy cow. Is this serious? "You should go absolutely crazy creating your classes. Make classes for bold, underline, special fonts, overline, underline, strikeouts, big, little and everything in-between -- whatever you want, whatever you even remotely think you'll need!" Okay, first, if you "... Go absolutely crazy creating your classes", the browser has to load all those "crazy" classes. There goes your bandwidth. Plus, if your CSS file is not is some sort of semantic order, your crazy classes might not load. Just throwing crap in there might work, but it's hit-or-miss. Please, please, arrange your stylesheet logically. If for no other reason, for the sake of being tidy. Edit: I did find a couple good tips here, though. The main one being the workaround for using the quote tag (<q>) and keeping Internet Explorer happy.
