After likening Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Osama bin Laden, Bush compared Barack Obama to Nazi appeasers." Interesting that only yesterday that Secretary of Defense Robert Gates argued that United States needed to engage with Iran. By Bush's definition wouldn't that be 'appeasement'? The Democratic leader of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, described Bush's comments as "beneath the dignity of his office". And what 'dignity' would that be? I call bullshit. How many times do we have to flush for this guy to go away? (recognize that one, Peg?)

- Oddly, no word about whether Condi Rice's negotiations with North Korea were also seen as "appeasement", since North Korea is a nuclear threat and Iran isn't.
