    I think that this deserves some research. Certainly just the regrowth of a finger tip is not a big thing but its a start. Big things got started with small advances. I believe we are on the leading edge of a medical and technological innovation. Perhaps at one point we will be able to truly regrow lost limbs bones and all. This may be part of that process.

    unfortunately this is not true. Well, it's sort of true, but it's got nothing to do with pig extract. He didn't lose any bone and the skin grew back. It really isn't amazing, the story is just overexaggerated.
