    If you're trolling craigslist for a new apartment in an urban area...this is amazing. Puts all of craigslist apartment listings on a nice Google map, sortable, filterable...nice little pushpins to see where stuff is at. Bonus: Use this in conjunction with city-data.com.

    Maps are really a useful tool for a variety of things much less real estate. We use "Google Maps" extensively in our real estate business @ Johnson Team Real Estate Our oldest used them exclusively to seek out an apartment when he was attending the University of Chicago
